Hello everyone. It was great to see most of you at the birthday party Saturday. I just wanted to try to post something to see if I could. I know Mary has tried unsuccessfully to post and I just wanted to make sure this site was still up and running.
There's really not much to report from JC. Hannah and I went to the park for a couple hours yesterday to enjoy the warm weather.
Mary/Katie - do you know when we will be celebrating February birthdays? David and I are going on a Marriage Encounter February 9 & 10 and on Sunday, February 17 I will need to set up for the Mission Party at school the next day. The Mission Party is a 50+ year tradition at St. Peter's School. It's a carnival-type day with the money raised split between the School Sisters of Notre Dame (our local teaching nuns community) and the missions (usually Peru). I haven't been to the Mission Party since I was in eighth grade, so this will be my first time back as a parent. I'm in charge of the mini-golf booth. It's kinda fun and yet strange to be back at my elementary school but as a parent this time. I makes me appreciate all that my mom did more and more. She helped at the Mission Party for all 20 years that she had a child at St. Peter's. Isn't that incredible!

Not sure if we are getting together for the February birthdays since it is just mine and Gabby's birthday and none of the younger ones. I don't think we have done anything in the past year or two but you'll have to see what Mary says.
If we don't do anything then the next get together I think would be Cole's birthday party on Saturday, March 15th.
